This website doesn’t use cookies, ads or tracking. The only personal information we collect is what you send us when you apply.
When you apply
The application form asks for your name, age and email address, your social media accounts and follower counts, and your answers about your work. You can also add your Discord username.
We use this only to review your application and to contact you about it. We don’t sell it or share it with anyone outside the CountriesIRL team.
Your answers are saved in a private Google Sheet that only the team can open, so Google stores them for us (Google’s privacy policy).
You need to be 13 or older to apply.
Seeing or deleting your answers
We keep an application while we review it, and a member’s for as long as they are in the network. Email countriesirlhub@gmail.com and we will send you what we have, correct it, or delete it.
Other services
This site is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub keeps visitors’ IP addresses in its server logs for security (GitHub’s privacy statement).
Links to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Discord take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.
The Map Editor collects nothing: the maps you make stay on your device.
